Winning the smoke-free quality of life is a process. A process of
achievements, winning one smoke-free minute after the another,
and each one giving us "that winning feeling" that helps us along
the journey. Please take a look at this little article called
"Achievement." ... (It's only me) Father Don

                       Achievement

"Mere longevity is a good thing for those who watch Life from the
side lines. For those who play the game, an hour may be a year, a
single day's work an achievement for eternity."
                                            . . . Gabriel Heatter

It seems to prove itself more every day . . . A person is like a
bicycle, if they are not moving forward it's difficult to keep in
balance.

When we are moving forward in our smoke-free journey, investing one
smoke-free minute after the other, we are accomplishing something
of value. We are accomplishing something not all have been able to
accomplish. And in doing this, we experience something called "that
winning feeling."

There is nothing like "that winning feeling," to bring us more
success, happiness, joy, love, and prosperity in life. Let's stop
to reflect on the happenings of each day, as we win more of this
precious smoke-free quality of life . . . We are getting more of
"that winning feeling" each day . . . This feeling gives us more
than (just) a win over an addiction, it gives us a better chance at
winning (even) more . . . A chance at winning more self-esteem.
