The Alt.Support.Stop-Smoking (news group)

Alt.Support.Stop-Smoking (A.S.S-S) is a support group for those who have quit or are planning to quit smoking. The core of the newsgroup is mainly made up former smokers who support each other in their efforts to beat NICOTINE ADDICTION. ANYONE can join A.S.S-S. Do not be afraid to join, since we are all here to help.

A FAQ is posted to the Alt.Support.Stop-Smoking newsgroup once per week (typically Sunday) but it is also available via e-mail on request. Most of the material in this FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) is based PRIMARILY on information from the PERSONAL EXPERIENCES of the individuals in this newsgroup. Some excerpts and extractions from various related books and publications may also be randomly included. Send questions or comments to Barry R. Pekilis (Keeper of the FAQ) at bpekilis@swen.uwaterloo.ca.
